Almost since the inception, SSG has served as a fiscal sponsor for charitable groups and newly formed non-profits. Our fiscal sponsorship services allow groups, including newly formed non-profits, or those not yet recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS, to accept funding and donations, which allow them to operate their programs and services. Our menu of fiscal sponsorship services are tailored to meet the needs of each organization.
The most typical services offered include fiduciary oversight and financial management, human resource management, payroll, benefits administration, and other ‘back-office’ functions. SSG is proud to provide the infrastructure and expertise that allow other organizations to achieve their mission, while building capacity to operate independently. However, many of our fiscally sponsored organizations decide to remain under the fiscal sponsorship relationship for a long time, as they find the structure allows them to focus on delivering their services, without having to worry about the administrative burden.
