Our Vision:
APAIT’s vision for over 30 years has been to advocate, educate, and achieve optimal health and well-being. The APAIT mission is to positively impact the quality of life for medically underserved communities living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS and other health disparities across Southern California. Some services include HIV testing, health education, and behavioral health services.
Our Work:
APAIT remains the largest and most comprehensive API-focused AIDS Service Organization in Southern California, specializing in positively impacting the quality of life for people at-risk for or living with HIV/AIDS by providing services to these medically underserved populations. For 27 years, APAIT has worked actively towards its mission of positively affecting the quality of life for medically underserved communities, with a focus on those living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS and other health disparities, through a seamless continuum of culturally competent and linguistically appropriate programs. Over the years, the agency has developed a deep capacity to serve a variety of minority groups beyond APIs, including: Latinos, MSM, transgender persons, and young adults. APAIT offers HIV/AIDS prevention and early intervention services, HIV testing, linkage to care case management, mental health services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, benefits counseling, and housing assistance.
