Riverside Counseling Center (RCC)

Our Vision:

The goal of Riverside Counseling Center is to serve our community by eliminating barriers to getting the services needed.

Our Work:

The Riverside Counseling Center is a unique collaboration of two SSG divisions – Asian Pacific Counseling and Treatment Centers (APCTC) and Occupational Therapy Training Program (OTTP), located in the Moreno Valley and serving primarily the Western Region of Riverside County.

The mission of RCC is to treat at-risk and/or severely emotionally disturbed children and adults at an early stage in order to minimize impairment and permanent dysfunction. RCC services are targeted to the developmental needs of children from birth to 5 and from elementary to high school years, transitional age youths up to 21 years old, as well as adults and older adults in the Asians and Pacific Islanders (API) population. RCC offers comprehensive outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families including culturally tailored prevention and early intervention services targeting APIs of various backgrounds. RCC services include assessment, individual, group and family mental health counseling, collateral services, medication support service, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and education, and linkage and referrals. Riverside Counseling Center employs a multi-disciplinary staff who are highly trained, bilingual and bicultural professionals including a psychiatrist, clinical social workers, marriage family therapists, case managers, and a parent partner. RCC services can be offered in Spanish, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Korean.
