Forensic Treatment/Criminal Justice

SSG’s forensic treatment and criminal justice programs offer services in the jail/prison and community settings. SSG provides services to offenders and ex-offenders, as well as youth at-risk of offending. Services are designed to
facilitate reintegration into the community in a way that decreases recidivism, brings families together and improves quality of life.

COMPTON REFERRAL SERVICE PROJECT (CRS)
Compton Referral Service provides placement services to court-mandated volunteers who need to complete community service hours and serves all Los Angeles Superior Courts.

Services Offered

  • Volunteer referral to community-based agencies and community improvement projects
  • Track volunteer service hours
  • Provide certification for the court

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TRAINING PROGRAM – LA (OTTP-LA)
The Occupational Therapy Training Program provides young people with the skills they need to function effectively within the context of daily life. OTTP-LA serves high-risk, economically disadvantaged individuals ages 4-25 throughout Los Angeles County.

PROJECT 180
Project 180 is a forensic treatment program providing in-jail and community based services for offenders. Project 180 delivers evidenced-based programming to decrease recidivism and improve the quality of life for previously incarcerated men and women. Families and the community are also a priority, and staff work closely with court and probation to ensure that the diversion and re-entry programs provide safety and support for all. Community services are provided in Downtown Los Angeles near Little Tokyo.

RE-ENTRY MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION (RMO)
Reentry Maintenance Organization (RMO) offers comprehensive societal reintegration services for men and women returning to the community from incarceration. The populations served are those coming home to South Los Angeles, the surrounding areas and the San Fernando Valley. RMO is an extension of HOPICS and provides a wrap-around approach to clients using an integrated services model.
